Shield Azure a (representation of a) dolmen Argent garnished Sable and six ears of rye Or set in pale and placed per orle with three in chief. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "PÊRA DO MOÇO"
Meaning:
The arms are canting in part, as "pera" is an archaic deformation of "pedra_", "stone". As written on the scroll and in many other locations, "pêra" (with caret) means "pear" like in better known such case of etymological misattrib,
Castanheira de Pera, this is not shown as such in the arms. Words "do moço" mean "of the lad", but no lad is found on the arms; that´s because the dolmen´s full name is Anta do Moço (Lad´s Dolmen).
