Shield Gules, two grapevines Purpure leaved Or, in central chief a pear Or shaded Vert and leaved Argent, in base a horn Or tied Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals: "VERMELHA".
Meaning:
Vermelha means "the red one". But I think that is the background of the shield just per incident.

Presentation of Vermelha

Vermelha Commune is one of the seven communes of the Cadaval municipality (q.v.); it had 1288 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 12.0 km².
