Shield Azure with base wavy of Argent and Vert, crowned by a sailing ship Or with three masts Sable rigged Argent, in central chief a hyacinth Argent leaved of the same. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "S. JACINTO - AVEIRO"
Meaning:
The flower is alluding to St. Hyacinth, the local patron saint and name giver of the commune. The green waves in base are representing the Atlantic.
