Shield Purpure with base wavy of Argent and Azure, an open book Argent, in chief a pair of crossed keys in saltire, one Or and the other Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "S. PEDRO DE RIO SECO".
Meaning:
The arms are canting, as the crossed keys are an attribute of St. Peter, name giver of the commune and local patron saint. The base wavy is referring to the other name giver Rio Seco.
