Planície Dourada Tourism Region (meaning Golden Plain), its logo on a
white background. This logo shows a typical local landscape, with hot sun
over a one-storey blue rimmed red roofed white house with a large chimney
by a cork oak on a vast wheat field, with an ogival arch over all. This
refers to the landscape and nature tourism resources as well as monuments
and historical tourism. Under the image, the lettering "Região de Turismo
da Planície Dourada" the main name in large golden italics.

This tourism region almost coincides with Beja
district, lacking only the coastal Odemira
Municipality, which has its own independent municipal turism office.
Therefore this tourism region roughly coincides with the
Baixo Alentejo traditional province, lacking
only its four coastal municipalities.
