Arms and flag adopted on June 28, 1996 (resolution # 139/XX/96).
"Arms: shield divided horizontally into two parts.
On a blue field of the lower (larger) part of the shield there is a
white castle with golden gate and three towers covered with red roofs.
On the roof of the middle tower (tallest) is a gold cross. Side towers
are topped with golden balls.
The upper (smaller) part of the shield contains three red roses related
to the Arms of the prominent Pommeranian families - Wejher and Loitz.
The Arms were designed in 1996 by the Centrum Heraldyki Polskiej (Center
of Polish Heraldics).
Flag: rectangular piece of cloth in the ratio 1:2 composed of two uneven
horizontal bands: upper - white and lower blue in the proportions 1:3.
On the white band there are three red roses. On the blue band there
is an image of the castle.."
