Arms and flag adopted on December 28, 2004 (resolution # XXXI/191/2004).
"Arms: The griffin is from the Arms of the medieval rulers of the land
- House of Griffins (Polish: Gryfici; German: Greifen) - dynasty of dukes
that ruled the Duchy of Pommerania from the 12th century until 1637.
The silver oak leaf symbolizes the abundant forests surrounding the
town and, also, related to the Arms of the von Bismarck Family, founders
of the settlement and owners of the paper works on Wieprza River.
The mill wheel symbolizes the numerous factories of the area utilizing
hydro-energy.
Flag: reflects the colors of the Arms."

The Law ("Statut") shows in the addendum a flag with some fancy geometry,
different from wiki (which is rather plain, uninteresting).
I am discouraged from asking for clarification.
Out of 24 inquiries sent since we started these series, I've got only
3 answers.
I was trying to be as polite as possible and used my best Polish in
writing, but the prevailing response is a boorish "don't bother us" and
no answers.
