Gmina Wielka Wieś is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Kraków
County, Małopolskie (Lesser Poland) Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Its
seat is the village of Wielka Wieś, which lies approximately 13 kilometres
(8 mi) north-west of the regional capital Kraków. The gmina covers an area
of 48.1 square kilometres (18.6 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population
is 9,316.
The flag is vertically divided blue-white-blue (3:10:3) with
CoA in the center. Ratio is 5:8. Flag and new CoA adopted on june 30, 2009.
