Gromnik - rural commune, Tarnów County, Małopolskie Voivodship.
Gmina Gromnik is a rural gmina (commune) in Tarnów County, Lesser Poland Voivodship, in southern Poland. Its seat is the village of Gromnik.
Area: 69.81 sq.km (27 sq.mi); Population: 8,348 (2006); land under cultivation - 65%; forests - 25%.
First mentioned in 1288

Arms and flag adopted on April 27, 2006 (resolution # XXIX/231/06).
"Arms: on a blue shield and above a silver, wavy ribbon a silver sword with golden handle, pointing downward and two crossed golden keys.
The sword and keys are related to Saint Peter and Saint Paul, the patrons of Benedictines from the cloister in Tyniec.
The wavy ribbon represents the local River Biala.

Flag: rectangular piece of cloth composed of two equal vertical fields of white and blue. White field next to the hoist bears the Arms of the commune."
