Stanin - rural commune, Łuków County, Lubelskie Voivodship.
Gmina Stanin is a rural commune in Łuków County, Lublin Voivodship,
in eastern Poland. Its seat is the village of Stanin, which lies approximately
14 kilometres (9 mi) south-west of Łuków and 74 km (46 mi) north of the
regional capital Lublin.
Area: 160.25 sq.km (61.9 sq.mi); Population: 9,789 (2006).
Land under cultivation - 76%; forests - 17%.

Brand new Arms and flag adopted on December 11, 2008.
Earlier that day the new insignia were consecrated at the Holy Trinity
church by Bishop Henryk Tomasik.
The Arms of Stanin show, on a red shield, the image of Saint
Stanislaus of Szczepanów.
On the right of the Saint is resurrected Piotrowin (Peter) and on his
left the main element of the noble Coat of Arms "Nalecz".
