- former German name: Graudenz (1795-1920 and 1939-45).
The Law of the Commune says: "The arms of the Grudziadz Commune show
on the shield divided into three fields (in the shape of inverted letter
"T"):
On the right field (blue) - pine tree (gold)
On the let field (also blue) - tobacco seedlings (gold)
On the lower field (gold) - red fox above blue and gold waves.
The flag is rectangular with three equal vertical bands of blue - red
- blue. In the center of the middle, red band, the Arms are displayed."
