PRZEWORNO Commune - STRZELIN County - DOLNOŚLĄSKIE Voivodship - Old German
name: Prieborn.
According to the Statute of the Commune adopted on 30 November 2000,
the Coat of Arms looks like this:
Lower part of the shield - green with the semicircle of three mounds
symbolizing the local hills with the dominant Mt.Gromnik. In the
middle of the lower part a contemporary element - wheat stalk in combination
with the letter"P", the initial of the commune. The wheat stalk represents
the agricultural character of Przeworno. On the top of the hill, Lower
Silesian black eagle with the silver band on chest and the cross on it.
The tail of the eagle touches the highest hill on the golden background
filling all the upper part of the shield. There are also 3 six-point stars
colored red symbolizing the cult of Virgin Mary.
Flag: - horizontal stripes of red, yellow, green, yellow - red
- 5/8 of the width - yellow - 1/8 - green - 1/8
- yellow - 1/8.
