Arms: Granted 30 August 2007
Parti per fess vert I or an 8-pointed mullet gules; II argent a lozenge
gules; surmounted with a crown or of 8 pearls.
The name "Lansingerland" refers to a "landscheiding" or "lansing" (land
separation), which since days of old formed the border between the "hoogheemraadschappen"
(polderboards) of Delfland and Schieland. This separation runs across the
new municipality and can still be seen as a dike. That is symbolized in
the green bar in the arms.
The golden and silver fields symbolize the brooks Leede and Rotte.
The star is derived from the arms of the old arms of Berkel en
Rodenrijs and Bergschenhoek; the red lozenge is from the first, most important
quarter of Bleiswijk.

The flag was adopted 22 November 2007, and obviously derived from the
arms.
