The flag was inaugurated in 1982 to celebrate 25 years of Tollebeek's existence. The deer represents hunting, the yellow field harvest, the blue wavy stripe the former Zuiderzee, now IJsselmeer, and red the rooftiles of the Tollebeek houses.
The village has no coat of arms.
