The municipality of Sveti Nikole (18,497 inhabitants; 482.89 sq. km), located in northern North Macedonia, is made of the town of Sveti Nikole and of the 32 settlements of Alakince, Amzaberovo, Arbasanci, Bogoslovec, Burilovci, Gorno Gjugjance, Gorno Crnilište, Gorobinci, Delisinci, Dolno Gjugjance, Dolno Crnilište, Erdželija, Kadrifakovo, Knežje, Krušica, Makreš, Malino, Mezdra, Mečkuevci, Mustafino, Nemanjiša, Orel, Pavlešenci, Patetino, Peširovo, Preod, Rančinši, Sopot, Stanulovci, Stanjevci, Stroimanci, and Trstenik.

Although this municipality has very nice heraldic symbols, the flag was
changed in 2020 to a diagonal yellow over red design with the shield in the
upper hoist.

This flag of Sveti Nokiole, designed by the heraldist Stojanče Veličkovski, was inaugurated in 2014 (municipal website; images).
The flag (official specifications) is in proportions 2:3, diagonally divided yellow-green. The dividing line runs from 1/5 of the bottom edge of the flag to 4/5 of its top edge. The flag is charged in the center with the square emblem taken from the coat of arms, in side 3/5 of the flag's hoist.

The previous flag of Sveti Nikole (photo) was diagonally divided red-yellow with the municipal coat of arms in the middle.
