On Oct 5th 1952 Immigration Agency ship ensign was adopted
by Ministry of Justice Instructions No 5.
The white ensign has its English initial IA in white in a blue disc surrounded
by red sun rays.
The agency changed its name to Immigration Bureau of Japan in 1952
but the IA initial in the ensign is still in use.
