He served under Toyotomi Hideyoshi and was a member of the Eastern force in the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600, and became the lord of Tokushima Castle in Awa Province with 176,000 goku in the same year. For his services during the Osaka Summer Campaign, he was granted additional lands in Awaji Province, and his total lands were 257,000 goku.
The war banner has white background with a black swastika in the upper part and black diagonal stripe at the lower part.
The family emblem was a swastika in a circle, a pattern that exists throughout the world and is said to be a symbol of life, and in Buddhism, a sign of happiness.

The geometrical diagram "Yantra" is famous for a symbom of Hindu God Kali.
The swastika is a geometric emblem, design, symbol, or letter. It is used as a symbol in many cultures and religions around the world, and examples exist not only in Hinduism but also in Buddhism and other religious symbols, Native American states, and in the West, derivation from the sun cross. In Japan, it is also used as a family emblem and as a Chinese character.
