The flag was adopted on July 20th 1984 by the prefecture in
Notice No 94.
The flag proportions are 2:3.
The turquoise flag is charged with city emblem in white.
○ stands for literary and ◇ for military arts. The ancient style of kanji
TORI 鳥 is put in the center.
