Omaezaki city adopted its emblem on 1 August 2004;

color of emblem: blue and orange; width of the emblem: 3/5 flag height; shifted 1/100 towards hoist.
blue stands for sea and orange for sun. A Latin script O of Omaezaki and katakana O オ.

The emblem as a whole is a letter O and a katakana o オ. The blue stands for the ocean and the orange for the sun. The figure formed by the white background, heading towards the sun, represents leadership, showing the image transmitted to the world with passion by the co-operating citizens.
