It seems that the FIGC has a new logo and thus, most probably a new flag.
Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio, better known as Federcalcio or by its
acronym FIGC is the governing body for football in the country. It was
established on March 26, 1898 in Turin as Federazione Italiana del Football,
FIF. It adopted its current denomination in 1909.
The four stars in their
coat of arms featuring the gold medal in the 1924 and 1928 Summer Olympic Games,
considered at the time world titles, since the first FIFA World Cup was not
organized until 1930.
However, the Men's national team indeed later won
two more World Cups (1982 and 2006), so they are entitled to feature the four
stars on their jersey, as authorized by FIFA during the 1990s (source:

current coat of arms, launched on October 4, 2021, by Independent Ideas
publicity agency features the font type ITC Avant Garde Gothic Std, and the
colors:
Azzurri blue (Pantone 2935 C, R 0 G 87 B 184), Poinsettia Red
(Pantone 185 C , R 228 G 0 B 4), Bright Green (Pantone 7482 C , R 0 G 159 B 77),
