Kerékteleki is a village in Komárom-Esztergom County in
Hungary near to Town of Kisbér (8 km
northwest). The village has got 713 inhabitants (1990 census),
nearly all of them are Hungarians. Neighbouring settlements are:
Tárkány, Bábolna, Mezőörs, Bársonyos,
Bakonyszombathely villages and
Kisbér town. In 1910, Kerékteleki was a village in the Zirc
district of Veszprém County. Number of inhabitants in 1910:
1.141; 1.113 (97,5%) Hungarian and 28 (2,5%) others by mother
tongue, 1.038 (91,0%) Roman Catholic, 71 (6,2%) Calvinist,
16 (1,4%) Jew and 16 (1,4%) other by religion.
