Komárom (Hungary) was part of Komárom/Komarno (now in
Slovakia) till 1920 and in 1938 - 1944. The territory of Komárom
was a part of Szony Village in the 19th century. It had become
part of Komarom (now Slovakia), when a new railway station
(Újszony = New Szony) had been built. After the Trianon Treaty
(1920) the settlement stayed in Hungary and has been given a new
name: Komárom.

Yesterday I have seen this flag. Ratio 1:2. On the yellow
field there is the coat of arms of the town.
