The municipality of Vrbje (2,906 inhabitants in 2001, 640 in the village of Vrbje) is located some 50 km west of Slavonski Brod, due south bordering Nova Gradiška.

The symbols of Vrbje are described in the Municipality Statutes Statut općine Vrbje, adopted on 8 September 2009 by the Municipality Assembly and published on 5 November 2009 in the County official gazette Službeni vjesnik Brodsko-posavske županije, No. 15.
The symbols were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka.
Decision Odluka o prihvacanju ponude za izradu grba i zastave općine Vrbje, adopted on 8 July 2005 and published on 15 July 2005 in the County official gazette Službeni vjesnik Brodsko-posavske županije, No. 12 (text) granted the production of the symbols to the Globus Grafika company, from Daruvar. The company was dissolved in 2008 and, thus, probably did not provide the designs.
The flag is shown on photos taken during the celebration of the Municipality Day (19 August, St. Roch Day). Since the photos from the 2008 celebration do not feature the flag at all, I believe that the symbols were approved between the two ceremonies, even if the actual adoption may have been done somewhat earlier.
The flag is in proportions 1:2, light blue with the coat of arms in the middle.

The coat of arms is "Or a willow proper".
The arms are canting, since vrba means "a willow" in Croatian. The region is indeed bordered with river Sava and quite marshy.

The table flag (photos) is in a form of a ceremonial gonfalon, white ending triangularly, with the municipality coat of arms in the centre, the municipality name above and two wheat garbs below.
