Team Sky is a professional cycling team, established in 2010 as a partnership
between British Cycling and Sky UK Ltd., a telecommunications company formerly
known as British Sky Broadcasting. Originally known as Sky Professional Cycling
(2010), then as Sky Procycling (2011), the team adopted its current name in
2014. Managed by Sir David Brailsford (b. 1964), the team won 22 races in 2010,
32 in 2011, 50 in 2012, 35 in 2013, 25 in 2014, and 40 in 2015. The main
achievements of Team Sky are three wins in the Tour de France: Bradley Wiggins
(2012; first British winner) and Chris Froome (2013 and 2015) and two World Time
Trial: Bradley Wiggins (2014) and Vasil Kyrienka (2015).
The supporters
of Team Sky consistently used flags at the team's colours, divided
black-blue-black, either vertically or horizontally.
