The house flag of the company is shown as #2018, p. 133, section "sailing vessels", in Lloyd's book of house flags and funnels of the principal steamship lines of the world and the house flags of various lines of sailing vessels [llo12], published at Lloyd's Royal Exchange. London. E.C. (1911), also available online thanks to the Mystic Seaport Foundation.
The flag is quartered white and red with the black letters "A" and "N" in the first and fourth white quarters, respectively.

The company is shown as Société des Armateurs Nantais by Louis Lacroix (Les Derniers Grand Voiliers) and Jean Randier (Grands Voiliers Français) with both showing ordinary letters and the latter showing them as blue instead of black.
