Introduction

This is about a satirical portuguese movie called O Rei das Berlengas (the King of the Berlengas). It is a comedy about a claimant to the throne of the Berlengas archipelago. The archipelago really exists, it is a group of very small islands off the portuguese coast near Peniche. In the larger island there is an ancient fort (where was filmed most part of the movie, partially converted into a resthouse), and a lighthouse. It only recieves visits from scientists (it has been declared natural park), and lighthouse operators, and a few tourists
