Description

Red-yellow-red triangular pennant, ratio ca. 1:20. Source: Album des Pavillons 2000. Some sources show this pennant with a yellow stripe of double width, similarly to the national flag – was that ever official?

The pennant is shown as having stripes of equal width in the 1977 decree. The original red-yellow-red pennant of 1785 did have a wider central stripe (plus a hoist panel with the arms). I ignore when did the change take place, possibly the 1785 pennant was used until 1931 and the 1936-1945 decrees made the stripes of equal width (and removed the panel).
