The municipality of Venialbo (475 inhabitants in 2009; 4,188 ha) is
located in the southeast of Zamora Province, 25 km from Zamora.
Venialbo was the second village in Zamora Province, after El Valle
(1094), to be granted a charter (fuero), obtained in 1220/1230.

The flag and arms of Venialbo are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 24
January 2003 by the Municipal Council, signed on 27
February 2003 by the Mayor, and published on 13 March 2003 in the official gazette
of Castilla y León, No. 50, pp. 3,808-3,809 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:
Flag: Rectangular flag made of three oblique stripes, the upper stripe red, the central stripe blue and the lower stripe or.
Coat of arms: Per pale. A stone bridge over water argent. A grapevine with grapes or. Fleur-de-lis. Medieval tower and Vera Cruz star [Crown not mentioned].
