Symbols of Brime de Sog

The flag and arms of Brime de Sog are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 12 March 2002 by the Municipal Council, signed on 9 April 2002 by the Mayor, and published on 7 May 2002 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 85, p. 5,952 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular, with proportions 2:3, made of two equal vertical stripes, at hoist red and at fly green with ten yellow disks placed 4 + 3 + 2 + 1.
Coat of arms: Per bend, 1. Gules a fountain argent, 2. Vert a bunch of grapes or ensigned with a wheat garb of the same. The shield surmounted with a Royal Spanish crown.

The symbols were designed by Tomás Rodríguez Peñas and Vicente Tocino Letrado. The two parts of the shield represent the two boroughs that form the village.
José Manuel Peque Tostón, former Mayor of Brime de Sog, claims to have drafted the coat of arms eventually approved by the new Municipal Council (La Opinión de Zamora, 3 March 2011).
On the flag, the ten yellow disks form a bunch of grapes.
