Presentation of Pedrosillo de los Aires

The municipality of Pedrosillo de los Aires (387 inhabitants in 2009; 7,039 ha) is located 30 km south of Salamanca.
The tradition says that the village, once named Pedrosillo de los Cristales (of the Crystals) for a local crystal mine, was renamed Pedrosillo de los Aires (of the Winds) by a bishop who stayed there on a very windy night.
