Symbols of Sanchedo

The flag and arms of Sancedo are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 20 December 2000 by the Municipal Council, signed on 10 January 2001 by the Mayor, and published on 9 March 2001 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 49, p. 4,008 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag with proportions 2:3, made of three vertical stripes with proportions 1:4, 1:2 and 1:4, the outer stripes white and the central stripe blue with a white flax plant.
Coat of arms: Azure a flax plant argent flanked argent. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.

The flag is therefore a banner of the municipal arms.
