Shield Azure an embattled tower Argent on top of a mount Vert issuant from base.
Meaning:
A local seal, in use until 1837, displayed the fleur-de-lis of the Fugger kin in a shield, topped by a coronet. The municipality applied for arms with an additional tower, the so called "Roman tower", and the Austrian white fess in a red quarter, referring to the Margraviate of Burgau. Finally only the tower alone was approved. Despite of its simplicity the arms had been displayed erroneously various times since the 19th century.
