Böhl-Iggelheim Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Azure an eagle Argent armed and tongued Gules, beneath Or a pair of scales Gules.
Meaning:
The eagle is taken from the arms of the Counts of Leiningen-Dagsburg and is representing Böhl, which belonged to a condominion of the counts and the Palatine Counts of Rhine. Its former municipal arms displayed three white eagles in base, a Palatine lion passant without crown in chief and an initial "B" on an inescutcheon in centre. The scales are n attribute of St. Michael, patron saint of Iggelheim.

Flag and banner were approved on 27 November 1975. The arms were approved in 1973 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Neustadt.

Iggelheim Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, standing on base Vert an angel, dressed Argent, nimbed and winged Or, holding a sword flambant Argent hilted Or by his dexter hand and a pair of scales Or by his sinister hand.
Meaning:
Iggelheim had been a Free Imperial Village, which was pawned to the Palatine Electorate in 1330. Two court seals from the 18th century displayed the angel in a shield. He is St. Michael, recognisable by his attributes sword and scales. In 1845 King Ludwig I of Bayern granted arms with the same pattern with mentioning the tinctures completely. A roayl grant from 1863 only applied to the seal. The tinctures were added much later by Otto Hupp.

Flag and banner were approved on 28 October 1965. The arms were granted on 24 December 1845 by King Ludwig I of Bayern.
