Bodelwitz Coat of Arms

Shield Argent an eagle Sable armed and tongued Or.
Meaning:
The arms appeared first after 1930 as decorations in the local town hall, have however never been approved officially. The eagle most likely is a differentiation of the Prussian eagle, as the municipality belonged to the Kingdom of Preußen between 1815 and 1945.

Meaning:
The eagle with wolf head had been the main charge of the family arms of the Lords of Orla, who founded the village. The upper sinister half is derived from the family arms of the local Lords of Boes and the three tips are also symbolising the former municipalities of Langenorla proper, Kleindembach and Langendembach. Weira Coat of Arms

Shield Or chapé embowed Vert, on base charged with a spruce issuant Vert, on dexter chief with a sinister facing horse head Or, on sinister chief with hammer and mallet Or in saltire, above accompanied by a Latin crosslet Or.
Meaning:
The horse head is alluding to the fact that the area had been populated already in prehistorical times. Prehistorical horseshoes had been found in the area. The spruce is taken from a local village seal from 1768 and is also a representation of the tree planted by Grandduchess Maria Paulowna in 1864. Th tree still existed in 1997. Hammer and mallet are symbolising local copper mining in the past. The crosslet is alluding to St. Anne, patron saint of miners, and to the chapel in Krobitz, dedicated to her.
