Shield Azure with base wavy Argent, issuant from base a wooden throughout bridge Or, in chief five poppets Argent ordered 3:2.
Meaning:
Base and bridge are taken from the arms of former municipalities of Sulzbach upon Kocher and Laufen upon Kocher, which had been incorporated in 1971. On 23 May 1973 the new municipality was renamed to Sulzbach-Laufen and the old arms of Sulzbach were abolished. The poppets are alluding to the the Lords of Limpurg, who owned the major part of both villages in the past.
