Shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent a sinister facing wyvern reguardant Vert spitting fire Gules, at sinister Gules a pilgrim´s staff Or in bend sinister between two scallops of the same respectant.
Meaning:
The wyvern is an attribute of St. Margareth, patron saint of the Premonstratensian Osterhofen Monastery. Zenting had been seat of a district (Bavarian: Hofmark) of the monastery until its dissolution in 1784. Staff and scallops are attributes of St. James the Elder, the local patron saint. The tinctures silver and red are those of the Bishopric of Passau.
