Shield lozengy of Argent and Azure, over all an arrow Gules in bend.
Meaning:
The first seal with prints since 1514 displayed on a targe parted per pale the initials "S" and "P", meaning "Schön Perg" and the arrow in bend between the initials. A description of the arms from 1537 mentions the current pattern on arms and seal. The rolls of arms of Philipp Apian and Hans Mielich from the 16th century display the arrow under a lozengy chief. Since 1721 all images match the version from 1537. Otto Hupp painted the arrow as golden.

The banner has never been approved officially. The arms were confirmed on 18 June 1537 by Duke Wilhelm of Bayern and Duke Ludwig of Bayern. The arms had been already granted in 1508 by their father Duke Albrecht IV of Bayern.
