It is a red-yellow-blue vertical tricolour. The coat of arms is shifted to the top.

It is a red-yellow-blue vertical tricolour. The coat of arms is in a white bannerhead. Under the shield is a black centred inscription: "MARKT WILHERMSDORF".

Shield parted per pale, above Or three lozenges in fess, beneath Azure an initial "W" Argent.
Meaning:
The lozenges are taken from the arms of the Lords of Wilhelmsdorf, who died out in the 15th century. The lower half displays the initial of the town in the Bavarian tinctures.

The arms were confirmed on 23 June 1926 by Minister of Interior of Bayern. The flag colours are traditional.
