Shield Or a saint nimbed Or and dressed Azure, leaning on a gridiron Sable by his dexter hand and holding a palm frond Vert by his sinister hand.
Meaning:
On 30 August the mayors of Camburg, Dornburg and Dorndorf-Steudnitz signed a treaty about the incorporation into Camburg, connected with a change of the name. On 1 December 2008 the treaty took effect. The new city adopted the symbols of Camburg. The saint is St. Lawrence, patron saint of the parish church of Camburg before the Protestant Reformation. The pattern is known by local seals of Camburg since the 16th century. The saint held however a book by his left hand, which was replaced by the palm frond in 1904.

Shield Argent an angel with hair Sable, winged Or, dressed Gules with belt Sable, killing a dragon Vert in base by his lance Sable and holding a shield with bordure Vert, charged with an eradicated flower Gules with stem and leaves and roots Vert, by his left hand.
Meaning:
The pattern is based on a historic municipal seal. Its origin is based on the fact that the village belonged to the city of Jena. It was called simply Löbnitz and was sold to the city council in 1390. The angel is St. Michael, recognisable by the dragon as one of his attributes, patron saint of the parish church and city of Jena. The eradicated peony (Latin: Paeonia officinalis) is a medical plant already cultivated today and is symbolising the cultivation farming of various medical plants since the 16th century.
