Shield Azure, a radiant sun Or with face.
Meaning:
The sun (German: Sonne) is a canting element. The arms had been simplified by Frank Diemar and a redesign from a version from the 18th century. Seals from the 16th century displayed a tree as symbol for a wood (German: Wald). Seals from the 17th century displayed both: tree and sun.
