Shield Sable, a bull's head caboshed Argent with nose ring Or, flanked by two facetted 6-point stars Or.
Meaning:
Schlieben gained city rights in 1606. A coloured stamp from around 1900 displays a different shield, shaped like a blue fur and has the year "1638" in its circumscription. The arms since then had been basically the same, but details had been modified. Otto Hupp (1925) displayed the bull with golden horns. The stamp displays blossoms instead of stars.
