Genderkingen Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent two keys Gules in saltire, at sinister Azure a crowned initial "K" Or.
Meaning:
The keys are attributes of St.Peter, co-patron-saint of the local parish church. The sinister half displays simplified arms of the Imperial Kaisheim Abbey, which acquired the village in 1748 and had also the lower cognisance and the bailiwick and was manorial lord, all until 1803, when the abbey was secularised.

The arms were approved on 13 September 1960 by Minister of Interior of Bayern. The banner has never been approved officially.
