Description of coat of arms:
In the cemtre of a golden(=yellow) shield is a red bell. Upon the sinister chief point is a snail's shell of the same colour.
Meaning:
According to source the bell is canting. "lüden" (German: läuten) means ringing a bell. The shell is symbolizing the former municipality of Seppenrade. There a giant snail's shell had been found.
