It is a 3:5 rectangular white flag with a wide blue border (thickness circa
~4/30ths of the flags height) and the coat of arms centered in the white area.
The shade of blue is medium bright, as seen in the 2020 source photo, not smokey
pastel sapphire.

The coat of arms is per fess on the I per pale on its I a representation of a
farmer sowing all Proper and on its II Gules an open book Argent with its quill
Or and on the II Or a mortar and pestle and a three different coffee containers
one labeled "Cafe de CR" all Proper and a bordure diminished Vert (or just a
non-heraldic green edging). Mural coronet Or with no openings and 5 visible
square-section towers. Two stalks of sugercane (?) flanking the lower side of
the shield with their stem tips crossed saltirewise. Underneath "1868" on a
small red scroll, and below it a larger amber-brown scroll reading "Trabajo Paz
Educación", both with black regular text. Above all on a large pale blue scroll
"Atenas" in blue bold latters. All inscriptions in capitals.
