The cantonal Zürich Shooting Sport Association (Zürcher Schiesssportverband) officially exists since 1 January 2006 through the merger of the Zürcher Kantonalschützenverband and the Zürcher Kantonaler Sportschützenverband. It's the umbrella organization of over 250 clubs with over 15'000 members in the Zürich canton. The current flag was introduced on occasion of the association's founding. It has the design of the Zürich canton flag with the lettering of the association's name along the hoist. Two different logos are used on the association's website.
