On blue on green ground a part of a white fortification wall with open gate and white tower, both with
red roofs.
Rothenturm got its name from the roter Turm (red tower) which still exists today
(picture, source) and was a part of the fortification wall built in 1310
across the whole valley. It is depicted in the emblem.
