Description of the flag

Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville is an off-island suburb of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada, on the south bank of the Saint Lawrence River just east of Montreal. It lies on the west flank of Mont Saint-Bruno, one of the Monteregian Hills. It merged with Longueuil in 2002 but de-merged in 2006.

This Montreal suburb has a logo flag on white.

The two black chevrons charged with ermine spots, a symbol of lordship, represent the first and last lords of Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville. The white chevron and the acorns comes from the arms of the Boucher lineage, first lords of Montarville.
Azure blue is a symbol of joy, knowledge, loyalty and clarity. Red is a symbol of greatness, audacity and valiance. Green represents greenness, meaning hope, growth and development. Black is a symbol of firmness and vigilance.
The shield is supported by two maple branches proper tied gules in saltire.
The French motto "FIERS DE NOS TRADITIONS" reads "Proud of Our Traditions", recalling the exemplary ancestors.
