Saint-Nazaire-d'Acton is the birth place of Ernest Dufault, author, as Will James, of 26 books he illustrated himself. Scribner's Magazine prompted him to gather his short stories in "Cowboys, North and South, which was released in 1924 as his first book. "Smoky", his third book, was awarded the National Prize of Youth Books.
For his contribution to the image of the West and of cow-boys, he entered the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City on 21 March 1992, 50 years after his death and 100 years after his birth.

Description of the flag

Flag is complicated, and could not find a complete picture, but
is gold and black details on white. Municipal arms appear to be
in upper hoist.
Dave Fowler, 3 March 2022

Yellow represents agriculture. Green is the color of abundance. Black represents the oil.
The maize cob represents production while the wheat spike represents agriculture. The fleurs-de-lis represents the French Canadian origin of the population.
The interlaced chevrons emphasize unification and mutual aid among people when facing problems. The escutcheon is the point of meeting of union of the village's parts. The palm and the sword are the symbols of Saint-Nazaire-d'Acton. The oak acorn is a symbol of power and solidity connected to the ancestors' force.
