The New South Wales State Emergency Service is a volunteer uniformed (bright
orange) organisation that trains and help out in cases of emergency such as
flood and the like as well as sometime assisting authorities (missing person
search/traffic control).
The flag of the SES is a defaced British blue
ensign with the organisation's logo on the fly. The red flower is the waratah,
NSW's floral emblem.
