Victor Khanye Local Municipality

Victor Khanye Local Municipality (formerly Delmas Local Municipality) is located in the Nkangala District in Mpumalanga Province. The administrative centre of the municipality is in Delmas.

A flag for the municipality, being a heraldic banner derived from the shield in its coat of arms, was registered with the South African Bureau of Heraldry on 05 April 2008 and is described as: “A rectangular flag proportion 2:3 per chevron coupled green and white, in base dexter an open yellow book, bound black, and sinister a maize cob proper, there below a cosmos flower also proper; a yellow chief, over the partition line a chain per fess black and white, on the chief a blue barrulet enhanced nowy fitchy inverted, the point couped, charged with a mineshaft wheel, thereupon a cogwheel all of white, the axle in the form of a mascle, voided of black."
